What is the difference between the Gia Wellness Cell Guard Sliver and the Universal Guard?
All of our chips are powered by the same scientifically proven dual-action technologies. The variations between the Cell Guard Sliver and the Universal Guard are the size of the chips, their shapes, their recommended device applications and their expirations.
The Cell Guard Sliver
The Sliver chip is thin and approximately 5/8″ in diameter or length/width- 067″ (17.00 mm), height- 0.01″ (0.33 mm), weight- 0.05 oz (1.36 grams). The Sliver is ideal for those who prefer a low profile, less observable chip. The Sliver is packaged individually and as a multiple 4-pack quantity. The Sliver can be applied to all devices, such as cell phones, smart phones, cordless phones, e-readers, tablet computers, video game consoles and larger devices. The low profile Sliver chip may be utilized on devices as an alternative to the Universal Guard chip. Please note that more than one Sliver chip may be required depending on the features or size of the device. Examples; e-readers, tablets and notebook computers will require 2 Sliver chips each instead of 1 Universal Guard chip as recommended. As an alternative to the Universal Guard chip, a cordless phone will require 4 sliver chips, instead of 2 Universal Guard chips as recommended. An alarm clock will require 2 Sliver chips, instead of 1 Universal Guard chip as recommended. A hair dryer will require 2 Sliver chips, instead of 1 Universal Guard chip as recommended. The Sliver may not be accommodated by ear-pieces, ear-buds, smartwatches or headsets. We recommend the Mini Slivers for these applications. The Mini Slivers are approximately 0.27″ (6.75 mm) in height, width-0.27″ (6.75 mm) and 0.02″ (0.50 mm) thickness. The Mini Slivers are available in a 2 pack. The Sliver and Mini Slivers should be replaced every (1) year after initial application, activation and use on your device (a 1 year lifespan from the date on which they have been placed onto the device). The Sliver Plus is approximately 1.25″ (31.75 mm) in diameter or length/width, height- 0.01″ (0.33 mm), weight- 0.05 oz (1.36 grams) and has a lifespan of 1.5 years). The Universal Guard
The Universal Guard is round shaped, approximately 5/8″ in diameter and 3/16″ in height or width- 0.69″(17.45 mm), height- 0.22″ (5.65 mm), weight- 0.32 oz (9.07 grams) . The Universal Guard chips are available as multiple quantity packs of 2, 6 and 12. The Universal Guard is a larger chip and contains considerably more patented polymer than that of the Sliver. The Universal Guard chips have been designed to be applied to all larger appliances and devices such as computers, cordless phones, televisions, wireless routers, e-readers, tablet computers, game consoles and more! Example; As a wireless device, a computer can operate on the same network as a cell phone and can utilize the same radio frequency signals to communicate with the network as a cell phone. Therefore, in addition to applying our MRET- powered Cell Guard Sliver chips to your cell phone, we recommend applying our MRET- powered Universal Guard chips to your computer to help neutralize any harmful radiation frequencies emitted and received. Please note that more than one Universal Guard may be required depending on the device. The Universal Guard should be replaced every (3) years after initial application, activation and use on your device. (a 3 year lifespan from the date on which they have been placed onto the device). How and where do I apply the Cell Guard Sliver or Universal Guard?
1 The surface of the device should be clean for best adhesion. Use a soft cloth to clean the surface of your device.
2 Peel off the paper on the back of the Universal Guard.
3 Apply the Universal Guard on a clean, flat surface of your device.
You may apply the chip anywhere on your device, except to the screen or any glass surface of your device.
The Cell Guard Sliver
1 Use a soft cloth to clean the surface of your cell phone.
2 Apply the Cell Guard Sliver on a clean, flat surface of your device.
You may apply the chip anywhere on your device, except to the screen or any glass surface of your device. We do not recommend covering the Cell Guard Sliver with your case. You may adhere it on top of your phone case.
The Mini Slivers
1 Use a soft cloth to clean the surface of your earbuds or smartwatch.
2 Adhere one of each GIA replacement decals onto the left and the right earbud or headset or onto a flat space on your ear-piece or smartwatch.
How many chips are required for each of my appliances and devices?
Some devices may require 1 chip such as a basic cell phone, which requires only 1 Cell Guard Sliver. Other devices may require 2 or more chips depending on the features or size of the device. Note that the device guides and recommendations are general guides and individual preference and results may vary. Examples; Individuals may prefer to utilize 2 Cell Guard Sliver chips on their basic non-smart cell phone, instead of the general recommendation of 1 Cell Guard Sliver chip. Individuals may prefer to utilize 2 Universal Guard chips on their notebook computers instead of the general recommendation of 1 Universal Guard chip. Individuals may also prefer to utilize 2 Cell Guard Sliver chips, 1 on each side of their over-the-ear headset. The technologically advanced devices should also be considered for chip quantity requirements. Examples; a non-smart cell phone generally requires 1 Cell Guard Sliver chip, however, for the larger smart phones with technologically advanced features, we recommend 2 Cell Guard Sliver chips. Large screen t.v.s with technologically advanced features, such as smart t.v.s will require more than 2 Universal Guard chips. Refer to the device guides above. A general device guide for chip placement and quantity will also be included with your purchase order of the Universal Guard chips.
If I use an ear-piece or headset, do I still need to apply a Cell Guard Sliver on my phone or smartwatch?
We recommend utilizing a Cell Guard Sliver on your cell phone in addition to a Cell Guard Mini Sliver on your ear-piece, headset or smartwatch device to address both the exposure to electromagnetic frequency radiation (EMR) emitted from your cell phone and from the EMF- conducting nature of your ear-piece, headset and smartwatch.
Can I transfer my cell phone chip from one cell phone to another cell phone?
We do not recommend transferring a Cell Guard from one phone to another unless it is the same manufacturer and model of the original cell phone that the Cell Guard was functioning on. Our patented MRET and proprietary ERT customize to the particular frequency of the device the technologies are functioning on. Cell phones emit and receive particular frequency ranges and therefore a Cell Guard chip already in use on a particular manufacturer and model of phone, should not be transferred to a cell phone of a different manufacturer and model. Accordingly, we do not recommend transferring the Universal Guard from one device to another.
Will the Gia Cell Guard Sliver affect the signal strength of my phone?
The Cell Guard Sliver will not affect the signal strength of your cell phone. Our patented and proprietary technologies have been engineered to help neutralize the effects of your exposure to harmful radiation, while permitting the signal strength of your phone to function unaffected.
Are the Cell Guard and Universal Guard chips heat and water resistant?
The Cell Guard and Universal Guard chips are heat and water resistant. We recommend avoiding extreme temperatures and moisture exposure.
If I utilize a Cell Guard case on my cell phone, do I still need to apply a Cell Guard Sliver chip to my cell phone?
Our exclusive MRET and ERT Cell Guard cases can be utilized on your phone alone as an effective technology to help neutralize potentially harmful cell phone radiation, however, some individuals prefer to apply the Cell Guard Sliver chip to their phone, in addition to the Cell Guard case, as an additional precautionary to help guard against potentially harmful RF (radio frequency) radiation.
If I utilize the Gia Wellness Home Harmonizer or a Gia Pendant, do I need to apply the Cell and Universal Guard chips to my devices?
We recommend the application of the Universal Guard chips to your devices in addition to utilizing a Home Harmonizer or a Gia pendant to help neutralize all sources of potentially harmful EMF;

How do I use the Home Harmonizer and how many do I need for my home?
The Home Harmonizer utilizes no electricity and functions within a 60 ft. radius of building area coverage. The Home Harmonizer weighs only 1.98 oz. Plug it into any centrally located wall socket or power strip. The manufacturer recommendation is to utilize the Home Harmonizer according to the size of your house (Square footage), divided by the square foot coverage of the Home Harmonizer; (The area measurement of square feet, divided by 60). A 4000 sq ft. house will require approximately 6 Home Harmonizer devices. An average apartment typically requires 1 Home Harmonizer. The Home Harmonizer may be utilized in your office or in any hotel room when you travel. You can also bring the Home Harmonizer to visit a neighbor who utilizes wireless technology!
What is the difference between the GIA4life and the GIAlife pendants?
Guard yourself while on the go! Our pendants are perfect for travel and for everyday use while you are working or running errands. All of our pendants contain our proprietary Energy Resonance Technology. The GIA4life pendants contain an ERT charged removable flexcore insert. The GIAlife classic and GIAlife Pendant Lite are charged throughout with our exclusive Energy Resonance Technology, but do not contain the ERT charged removable flexcore insert.
Do the technologies within the Gia Wellness products expire?
The MRET polymer technology within the Universal Guard chips will remain active for approximately (3) years after initial application, activation and use on your cell phone or other device. The manufacturer recommendation is that the Universal Guards should be replaced every (3) years after initial application, activation and use on your device. The Slivers should be replaced every (1) year. The Car Harmonizer should also be replaced after approximately (3) years of use. Both the Cell Guard case and the Smart Meter Defender decals expire after (2) years in use. The IH2O MRET activated water system technology will last for approximately 39 years at 1-30 minute activation per day, however, because the components utilized within the activator might wear out prior to the 39 year MRET expiration, we recommend replacing the unit after approximately 5-7 years of use.
